This project offers dancers the oportunity to work with companies as Camut Band, learn and perform with their repertory through the year.
Tap dancers must have a minimum level of 3 years of tap dance.
Dancers will continue with their regular technique classes in their respective school and will combine it with the project rehearsals on Saturdays from 10.30 to 12.30 AM at Escola Luthier (c/Balmes 53, Barcelona).
Rehearsals will have the price of regular classes.
Schools who contribute with students to the new project will become collaborators and they will appear in publicity made by Escola Luthier.
The aim of this project is to train young tap dancers and approach them to the work of a professional company.
They learn to appreciate History and origins of Tap Dance through standard repertoire and work of current foreign and local choreographers.
The Jove Companyia repertoire is wide and varied, presenting different styles that are shown throughout the year in different events and performances.
The project also stablish contact with other companies around the world through exchange programs and the participation in festivals. Until now, we have exchanged with Montpellier and TCYE in New York, where we took part in Tap City Festival 2016 as a guest company.
